Maya Bitton and Eliran Mizrahi, who became engaged a month prior and had their wedding date set, had their dreams shattered on October 7 when they were tragically murdered while attending the Nova festival. Maya and Eliran hid in a nearby dumpster but were eventually found by the terrorists. Eliran’s body was found on top of Maya’s in an attempt to shield her from the bullets.

In honor of their memory, Shir Zoertz, Maya's childhood friend, composed a heartfelt song. "This song embodies their essence," said the singer, who initiated the piece as a tribute to the couple now resting side by side. "We held a combined ceremony for them at the wedding location we had envisioned," added Maya's sister.
