Gil Avni

Friends fondly remember Gil as a person of warmth and charm, characterized by his intelligence, humility, and wit. A dedicated sergeant in the paratroopers, he was murdered by Hamas terrorists while attending the Nova festival.

Born and bred in the heart of Israel, he embodied the spirit of his homeland – a place of beauty, diligence, and unwavering commitment to national security. He was laid to rest in Caesarea Cemetery, near his home.

Gil is survived by his loving parents and four siblings, leaving behind a legacy of courage and integrity.
