Gabi Azulay

Gabi, from Kiryat Malachi, was the partner of Karla Stelzer Mendes; both were murdered while attempting to escape attacking Hamas terrorists at the site of the Nova festival.

Gabi’s sister, Sharon Azulay, wrote on Facebook: “My dear brother, my beloved, I can’t believe it… murdered just for being Jewish.”

Two-and-a-half years ago, Azulay was seriously wounded in a tractor accident and was in a coma for a month before ultimately recovering. At the time, he wrote a post on Facebook thanking everyone for their support and prayers and thanking God “for the opportunity to live a second time — hopefully, this time will be calmer and without stress.” He also thanked “my love Karla, who always helped and supported me even in the moments when I was insufferable.”
