Avinithan Or

Avinatan Or, 30, was taken captive by Hamas terrorists during the attack on the Nova music festival. He hails from the religious settlement of Shilo and is the second of seven brothers. Avinatan's family describes him as someone who followed a different path from his family's religious background but was always considerate of others.

Avinatan and his girlfriend, Noa Argamani, had travelled to the festival together, and both were taken hostage. Avinatan and Noa initially hid for several hours, attempting to call for rescue forces and informing their friends and family about the situation. Avinatan's brother, Chaim, tried to reach them and briefly spoke to Avinatan, who reassured him that they were okay and promised to call back in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, that call never came.

Later in the day, a video posted on Telegram showed Avinatan Or and Noa Argamani in distress. Noa was on a motorcycle between two Hamas militants, crying out in fear "don't kill me" while Avinatan was seen being led away by at least three terrorists.

Avinatan Or is an electrical engineer and a graduate of Ben-Gurion University. He resides in Tel Aviv, where he had plans to move in with Noa Argamani. Described as an optimistic and fun-loving individual, Avinatan enjoys reading and hosting friends. His family and loved ones are deeply concerned about his well-being and are actively seeking information about his whereabouts, hoping for his safe return.
